There’s a real chance that the Liberals will be shut out of Manitoba. Their poll numbers here are horrendous. Unless they can pick it up, this riding is in trouble
Certainly possible, but I still give the edge to Neville. This riding and its predecessors have voted Liberal consistently since the 1960s. The NDP is fading as a factor and most of those NDP-inclined types will strategically vote Liberal. If St. Boniface starts to look too far gone the Grits will put everything they have into saving this seat.
As a former constituent of this riding I can see a delining support for the liberal party. A hard one to call but if Anita Neville wants to keep her seat it will be based on loyalty of her consituents over leadership of the party. Trevor Kenard might have the edge on this one.
