Telegdi will win this riding again for the Liberals. But his margin is going to be slimmer than ever before. It’s a bit of a shame that the people of Kitchener-Waterloo don’t recognize their Liberal incumbant for his nasty and bitter old man true colours. Instead, the riding seems to have a tendancy to vote in the incumbant no matter who they are or how mean spirted they act.

I really think the mood in the city is different this time than in 04 or 06. Telegdi has overstayed his welcome. I think if the national numbers hold, a vote split might put this in the Tory column.

I wonder how much longer the citizens of the Kitchener-Waterloo riding will stand for sending a man to Ottawa that has done very little to improve his position within the Liberal party? Here is a man who has never held a position higher than “chairman” of a subcommitttee. He represents a riding with two major universities, major insurance firms and one of the world leaders in technology – RIM. Not to mention that our MPP at one time held the position of deputy premier. I think the people of K-W deserve to be represented by someone who has a voice within their own party and is not sitting in Ottawa, doing as little work as possible, while all along accumlating a pension he does not deserve.

Here in the Kitchener-Waterloo riding it seems things are tightening up. At the latest all candidate debates the long standing Liberal incumbent Telegdi is continually pleading for the left of centre voters to align with him. Theres a real sense that the Conservative Braid has a shot here. He seems to be connecting with the mainly centrist voters. Some local media even are saying the riding is in play.
