I don’t buy that this is lock for Ben Lobb. After the last election he all but disappeared. He has done little work leading up to the election and his campaign was weirdly slow in starting.

It would be more accurate to say this is a toss up and with current polling trends anything is possible at this point.

McClinchey was on the Federal payroll while he made public appearances, Steckles campaign office paid for publications on the Green Shift to promote McClinchey …Ben went back to his career in the private sector and spent time in the riding when he could….
Its time for changes, the citizens of Huron Bruce deserve better than Steckle LIGHT.

Looking at individual candidates and whose the Greenest of them all – Tony McQuail wins hands down. If we are putting “climate change” as the number one factor this election, and we want MPs who “really get it”, Tony has been a environmentalist and actually involved with the local environmental movement for years in this riding.

I don’t believe for one minute that the libs will push the “Green Shift” since Dion has already given it the “red shaft.” Dah

    Needing Leadership,

That is a very serious allegation. Do you have any proof to back that up. It runs counter the statement on Mr McClinchey’s webpage (Q&A Number 7). http://www.gregmcclinchey.com/q&a.htm

I think all of the candidates in the election have their positive and negative attributes. The parties all have interesting agendas. What is needed? Someone with the humility to listen to the people, the brains to work with the people in finding clear direction for what is best for Huron-Bruce and the guts to defend it in parliament.

Although all of the candidates have displayed an admirable campaign thus far; It is obvious after talking with all of thecandidates individually that Ben Lobb has a quiet unassuming intelligence that far exceeds the other candidates.
I found out that he is a man that is smart from a business perspective. I don’t need a capital hill employee to finagle me with the latest verse of the day. I need someone who understands more than making a name for themselves as one of the 10 ten most influential people on the Hill. If you doubt me, do as I did and talk with them one on one.

There is a bottom line on this election. When we have tough times, new taxes of any kind can mean hard times for industry and manufacturing….I don’t think anyone really believes CARBON Tax is going to make things better the danger is is can make things much worse…

My idea of a better Canada does not include higher taxes, higher interest, higher unemployment and yes more plant closings…..Harper isn’t the most charming guy but he will keep a steady hand….He cares about this great country and now is not the time for pipe dreams.

I won’t say that a reform alliance appointed hospital board privatized physiotherapy in the town of Kincardine . Neither will I say that any party reacted to 89 major violations of The Canada Health Act LAW re : privatization . ( Kincardine not even counted )

I will say that of all area locals contacted only Federal candidate Greg McClinchey returned my plea for help . I believe he also read the Canada Health Act to this representitive (?) hospital board .

I won’t say that a harris formed and appointed multi hospital “super” board privatized physiotherapy in the town of Kincardine .

Since the last writ 89 major suspected violations of the Canada Health Act law occured . ( Kincardine was not counted in the tally of 89 )

I asked many local politicians for help . Federal candidate Greg McClinchey was the only one to return my plea for help . I believe he also made our provincial hospital board aware of their duties under thye Canada Health Act law .

p.s. Lobb is not the incumbent .
