The Liberals best hope in this region, a flawed “star” candidate, Larry DiIanni, former Stoney Creek councillor, former Mayor of Hamilton ,who ran into election finance problems., and lost the mayoralty to Fred Eisenberger. Wayne Marston of the NDP won the seat as a decent nice guy. It will be tight but Wayne should keep the seat with a decent central campaign and a decent riding campaign.
Will be a tight race between the NDP and Liberals.
as I read Greg’s lates projections, Wayne Marston, the incumbent, has a 6% point lead at the lowest end of his projected range, over the highest point of his nearest competitors range. Time to move this from Too Close to Call to a NDP hold?
