Patrick Brown is the WRONG CHOICE FOR BARRIE. I am sick of receiving two and three propaganda letters from him each week. To make matters worse I have to look at the 5 inch by 5 inch picture of him on everything. He may as well send me a big picture since I won a dart board. Since he won the last election Barrie has 4 new docotrs , not the 53 Patrick attempts to take credit for, as well the Liberlas provided all of the money for GO not Patrick, and to say he raised $100,000 through his hockey game is correct, but what he did not tell you was he spent $50,000 to send each of us a glossy flyer to tell us how much he raised and how he took his picture with each NHLer. There was never a school planned in the northeast section of Barrie. Developers lie to homebuyers when they purchase a home telling them that a school is going to be built. Where a school is built is decided by the various school boards, not by developers or by a one-man campaign who wants to ‘build a better community’, no matter how much he panders to Pinocchio Patrick. A consulting firm can’t cancel the building of a school either; boards are tight with their money and will bus students around and cram them into the buildings they have before erecting a new building. Get informed rather than swallowing or wallowing in Pinocchio Patrick’s BS.

The NDP will beat the Liberals in Barrie. Jones has lost all credibility in this riding. He represented developers to cancel the planned school in the north east end of Barrie. We will not forgot this man is owned by developers. We need an MP that works for people and not developers.

Propaganda Brown has been the MP who spent the most on advertising of all MPs. He has done diddly for the community while trying to take all the credit.

He should have used the money for ten-percenters on totally phony surveys and banner ads in the local papers he wasted to help the community in a meaningful way.

I am one of the 1500 votes that got Brown over the Liberals last time. It was the first and last time I will ever vote Conservative. Harper lied about dealing with corruption, giving more say to back-benchers and being open to collaboration with the other parties for the good of Canada. Instead he as been mean-spirited and autocratic to the extreme.

Claiming Brown will win by more thant 4000 votes is a pipe-dream!

Sandy/Alex Nuttall, you can’t walk? You sure did a good impression of it when canvassing my area for Pinocchio Patrick last week. Did he sign your cast too??? Is he adding MP even though the writ has dropped and he’s no longer the MP for Barrie and it shouldn’t be on his literature? Pinocchio Patrick knows that of course, but it’s another rule that he likes to break, like showing up at churches that are also polling stations on advance voting days….Elections Canada will hear about it.

Forthecountry, do you actually think out your comments before you post them?

Dion won the French debate and more than held his own in the English one.

Plus, the Presidents of Russia and France, Prime Ministers of Italy and Japan, Chancellor of Germany make up more than half of the G8 and they don’t speak English either.

Dion is better equipped than George Bush, Barack Obama and John McCain when it comes to talking with world leaders because he is bilingual

Alex is wrong about the vote (as he usually is with most things) and Rick Jones will win in a squeaker. The only way Liberal Rick Jones won’t win is if the NDP and Greens DON’T do the right thing and vote waste their votes. A sad reality is that a vote for anybody but Rick Jones is a vote for Brown and his goons.

Also, Please tell me how I can steal signs when I cant drive for another 6 weeks and I cant walk well, as I was in a cast with a broken tibia until 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Your accusations are ignorant, slanderous, and show how irrevelent your information and comments are.

If you would like to come over and take a look in my backyard when I am home, I would be more than willing to show you around. I will also give you a spelling lesson; you seem to need it.

The reason you were not able to catch me stealing signs is because I dont care enough who has signs up. Signs dont vote, people do. However, if they did vote, Brown would win with 70% of the vote!

Moreover; Barrie will go Conservative with a 13.4% margin.

The Liberal leader debated every bit as well as those of the other parties. He won’t have to debate with Bush, as Bush will be out of office in a few months or don’t you follow politics…it’s the German Chancellor and he won’t have to debate but discuss and he’ll do as well as any other G8 leader. Afghanistan has a puppet President who will collaborate with whoever sends money and assistance. The Liberal leader only appears weak to the trolls who have been spoonfed by the neo-cons. You may call yourself For the Country, but I don’t believe you’re for THIS country.

each time the liberals say vote liberal or you will get a conservative.
you do not have aileen carroll running now.
your leader can not debate with the other leaders.
if he can’t debate during the election with rules to follow allowing each member to speak.
How will he talk and debate with bush? the germany chanceller? the afgan government?
they won’t wait for him to think of the right words they will attack his points and dominate the room.
He will appear weak to the world.

A vote for a candiate not jones or brown is a vote against how these 2 partys have acted in the last 20 years.
Untill the liberal party gets a candiate that did the hard work and service, riseing up to be a cabinet member that aileen carroll did, and gets a leader that can lead, the other voters will support our partys.

Rich, if you visit thegreenshift.ca and fill out the grid (or calculator), it’s very easy to figure out how the carbon revenue will affect you and all families/ind. in Barrie. For example a couple, no kids, with a combined annual income of say 85000$ will get a annual tax break of over 700$. You just fill out if you’re oer or under 65, single or couple, etc. and hit “calculate”. VERY SIMPLE. Not at all like the misinformation theneo-cons are putting out.

Rick Jones chose the Liberal Party because he was disgusted by what the COnservatives had become. You can’t just make up things about people to suit your agenda. That is what the the Brown mob does.

You can go ahead and throw away your vote on the NDP-Green-Marxist-Libertarian also rans all you like but be careful of the false rumours you are try to spread.

You spread false accusations pretty thick and if that is the gutter politics of the NDP then I am glad you are the also rans in this riding. Jack Layton and the NDP spread false rumours about a Liberal opponent in the last election and were forced, by the courts, to compensate the BC Liberal candidate and apologize in the House of Commons.

Support for anyone but a truly honourable man like Rick Jones just gets a meat puppet like Patrick Brown elected.

every election the liberal party asked the ndp and green voters to vote for the liberals, so the conservatives wont win.
People have voted this way and what did we get!
the liberal party under chetain 12 years he was prime minister and he hid the paybacks and crime with in his party. 12 years of voting against policys that the ndp supported, 12 years of saying he would move the government to the left and we got a right wing government.

Heres what we will get.
some one who spent most of the last 30 years in the PC (conservative) party.
Who worked for the PC to get first Mulroney elected, condeming the liberal party the whole time.
The mulroney government was so bad that the people of canada destroyed the party in the 93 election.
Rick Jones also worked to get the harris PC government elected giving ontario a government that ontario is still suffering for with its policys.
Then When the people of canada finialy got rid of the PC they changed and became the harper conservatives.
When Jones tryed to work with the conservatives in barrie brown and his gang kept him out.
so he ran over and joined the liberals!
a party he been fighting against.
It’s brown or Jones?
whats the differance?
Vote for what you believe in and can support.

I’ll say it again, a vote for anyone but Rick Jones is a vote for Patrick Brown.

I can tell you what won’t happen with Rick Jones and the Liberals. You won’t get your mailbox stuffed with self serving crap.

Here is what you will get. You will have a fulltime MP who doesn’t take credit for other peoples work. You will have someone who is more interested in doing the job than just keeping the job. Rick Jones has a 30 year service track record in Barrie that is unmatched by any other candidate and if he will work that hard as a volunteer what will he do in Ottawa.

There is one clear choice for Barrie and that is Liberal Rick Jones.

The other 4 candidates will not have enough votes combined to even come in second and that means that a vote for Myrna or Erich is wasted and only gets Patrick Brown and his mob re elected.
