What will be interesting to see here is the rise in percentage of Green votes and whether the Greens can pull up ahead of the Conservatives and Liberals in this riding.

There has been a slight demographic shift in Vancouver East in the last few years. Slightly richer, slightly more upscale, etc… Might be closer than some think (and by that I mean maybe not a 14,000 vote margin).

I don’t think the Greens will eat into Libby’s vote too much. If you have a social justice concern (and let’s be clear, the environment is as much a social justice concern as it is a purely physical one) Libby is your woman.

And finally, can Betty Krawczyk run federally at the same time as she runs in the civic elections for mayor? Don’t see why not, but it does seem odd.
