Il semble qu’après Thomas Mulcair, un conservateur déguisé en néo-démocrate, l’ex-candidate libérale gatinoise Françoise Boivin soit l’un des meilleurs espoirs du NPD au Québec. En allant chercher des “outsiders” de cette manière, à quoi le NPD finira-t-il par ressembler? Parfois, je me pince lorsque j’entends M. Mulcair se porter à la défense des travailleurs et des exclus de notre société. Dire que ce bonhomme-là était ministre au sein du gouvernement Charest… Quelle sera la prochaine prise néo-démocrate? Un ex-adéquiste?

Franchement. Thomas Mulcair n’est pas un conservateur. L’environnement lui tient sincerement à coeur et je suis fier qu’il fasse parti du NPD.
The NDP as a whole has moved to the right, and I’m not surprised that more “moderate” people are running for it both inside and outside the province of Quebec.
I do not get this. I knew Mulcair’s reputation before I worked on his campaign to help get the vote out a year ago. It was Charest who was the Conservative, not Mulcair. The provincial Liberal party move to the right, (probably because of Charest), hence the reason Mulcair had to resign as Environment Minister. It was over selling off public land to the private sector.
The NDP, in practical terms, dumped the union movement, but are still on the left, just not dictated to by organized labour. This is a good thing….
Mulcair (Outremont) et Boivin (Gatineau) vont gagner leurs sièges. Ducasse (Hull-Aylmer) et Breton (Jeanne-Le Ber) ont aussi de bonne chance.
Le NPD est était totalement à gauche s’est rapproché du centre et et un parti de centre gauche (les Libéraux ont quittés le centre et sont eux aussi devenu centre-gauche).
